Judy
Judy is the heart and soul of our children’s ministry here at The Source. With over 39 years of AWANA leadership and more than three decades running her own daycare, she brings unmatched experience, love, and joy to every child she meets. She currently oversees our AWANA program, Children’s Sunday School, and Vacation Bible School—leading a dedicated team that shares her passion for raising up kids in faith. She’s also the organizer of our annual Foster Child Christmas Tree, a deeply impactful ministry that ensures over 50 children receive generous Christmas gifts and essential items each year. DHS has even shared that they reserve the kids least likely to receive anything for our tree—because they know those children will get everything on their list and more, thanks to Judy’s leadership and the generosity of our church family.Judy is the proud mom of 4, mother-in-law to 4, grandmother to 19, and great-grandmother to 9—and she’s also a spiritual mother and grandmother to countless others at The Source. Her warmth, energy, and deep love for children make her one of the most beloved leaders in our church. She’s served on mission trips to Guatemala and makes it a priority to attend the Apologetics Canada conference each March—often bringing others along for the learning and encouragement. At 78, while many would be slowing down, Judy is just hitting her stride—bringing energy and heart to ministry that could rival someone half her age. We are so blessed by her wisdom, laughter, and unstoppable dedication to the next generation.
