THE SOURCE CHURCH

Kurt and Melorae have been part of the heartbeat of The Source for years—and after more than 50 years of marriage, they’re still going strong, serving side by side with joy and passion. They have one son, two grandchildren, and have “adopted” many more kids and grandkids through their deep involvement at The Source. Kurt serves as our Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer and is also a faithful member of the worship team, playing guitar with heart and skill. Melorae directs the Cubbies program as part of our AWANA children’s ministry and is an essential part of our church’s care and hospitality. Both serve on our church’s leadership team. A retired real estate agent, Melorae spends much of her time volunteering—whether it’s helping in children’s ministry, supporting families at church, or serving meals at local food kitchens. Kurt, a “sometimes retired” electrician, is always ready to lend a hand, whether it involves electrical work or just about anything else someone needs. They’re not just faithful servants—they’re also hilarious, fun, and deeply loved by everyone who knows them. Their warmth, humor, and willingness to show up for others have made them pillars in our church family.
