THE SOURCE CHURCH

Xander and Hailey serve as our Youth Pastors here at The Source, and Xander also leads our worship ministry. Married for 8 years, they bring a rich background in ministry, missions, and leadership—and they love pouring into the next generation together.Both are graduates of Multnomah University—Xander with a degree in Bible and Theology, and Hailey with a double major in Bible/Theology and Youth Ministry. Xander also holds a master’s degree in counseling, and Hailey is just a few months away from completing her master’s in teaching, along with a TESOL endorsement. At The Source, they co-pastor our youth group with heart and energy. Xander leads worship and plays both acoustic and electric guitar, while Hailey sings on the worship team when she’s not wrangling their three young sons—Sullivan, Franklin, and Graham! Hailey also serves in children’s ministry and has spoken at various women’s ministry events and serving both locally and abroad, while Xander has had the privilege of leading worship at events both locally and abroad. Before moving to Portland in 2015, Hailey served as a middle school youth leader at Mountain Church. Since then, both she and Xander have served in leadership roles at Multnomah and The Source.  At Multnomah—Hailey as a resident assistant (RA)and worship team, and Xander on the Spiritual Life Team, Spiritual Life Chair and worship leadership.Their love for missions has taken them all over the world. Both have served in India on separate mission trips before they met, and Xander also served in Guatemala. Together, they’ve traveled or served in Hungary, Costa Rica, Austria, Germany, Slovenia, Italy, Israel, and Hawaii. With a special love for all things Disney the whole family loves trips to Disneyland whenever they can make it happen. When they’re not working or serving, Hailey enjoys creative adventures with their boys—whether it’s the zoo, the library, OMSI, fire stations, or local parks. She also loves building and collecting whimsical book nooks. Xander loves water balloon fights, wrestling matches, hide and seek, and video game nights with friends.  They also love to travel together when they get the chance. Xander and Hailey bring joy, depth, and authenticity to our church family—and we’re so grateful for the way they lead, love, and live with purpose.
